PhD in Earth Sciences from the University of Zaragoza, specialized in Vertebrate Paleontology. My main interests concern the adaptation of Cenozoic mammals to live in water. I have published several papers in journals included in the Journal of Citation Reports, and I have participated in numerous national and international meetings of paleontology.

I have a broad experience in field and laboratory works. I have participated in more than 20 diggings of macrovertebrates and I conduct field campaigns in the Cenozoic of Spain every year. I have more than 500 hours of experience in restoration of Mesozoic and Cenozoic macrovertebrates. I am interested in the transmission of knowledge to the general public, and I have curated an exhibition about the geologist Lucas Mallada, codirected a short documentary on marine crocodylomorphs, which has been awarded with several international prizes, and I usually participate in informative talks.

At present, I am the curator of the Museo de Ciencias Naturales de la Universidad de Zaragoza. My work includes the management of the museum’s collection, the permanent and temporary exhibitions, and the outreach activities.
